We are excited to have our alumni family and friends back for FSU Homecoming 2024 festivities as we honor and celebrate 50 years of being “World Renowned”.
For any questions not addressed below or in this FAQ, please email the FSUMCA at fsumca@gmail.com.
Registration Information
This year, we will begin the Homecoming weekend on Friday, November 22nd with an Alumni Banquet at the Automobile Museum (6800 Mahan Dr, Tallahassee, FL 32308) in the Duesenberg Banquet Hall at 7pm. Here we will have a special presentation from our 1974 Syria Trip 50th Anniversary Committee, our annual Alumni Board Meeting, results from Alumni Board voting, and more. The banquet includes dinner, dessert, and 2 drink tickets. The banquet is intended for alumni, and you may invite one adult guest. We ask that you do not bring your children to the banquet. Attire for the banquet is cocktail attire/business professional. Formal wear is not required.
On Saturday, November 23rd, we will begin the day at Chiefs Field. The schedule for Saturday will be issued once gametime is posted 1-2 weeks prior to gameday. We will participate in Continuity with the current Chiefs, Skull Session and March Over to the stadium. Once at the stadium, we will participate in pregame and halftime, as well as play in the stands to support the Marching Chiefs and our Seminoles.
The Marching Chiefs Alumni block includes seating in the stadium block and on-field access for participation in pre-game and halftime. The Marching Chiefs Alumni stadium block will be in Section 118, which is the same as previous years located in the South Endzone.
Depending on the schedule, we will try to do a BYO Tailgate at Chiefs Field between rehearsal and Skull Session. Bring your tents, tables, chairs, food and drinks, etc. Use this time to fellowship and swap stories, get with your sections and make memories.
How to Register
IMPORTANT: Registration does NOT include your uniform polo. You must purchase this separately. See the official uniform section below.

If you have registered for Homecoming and can no longer attend, please email us at fsumca@gmail.com.
DON’T FORGET PACKET PICK UP. Please be sure to pick up your packet on Friday November 22nd between 4pm-6pm at Chiefs Field. You will not have entry to the game without your packet.
Please email FSUMCA at fsumca@gmail.com if you need additional assistance.
GUEST FOOTBALL GAME TICKETS ARE TO BE PURCHASED SEPARATELY.
Guest Football Tickets
To purchase guest football tickets for 2024 Homecoming, please visit: https://seminoles.evenue.net/cgi-bin/ncommerce3/EVExecMacro?linkID=fsuse&evm=prmo&RSRC=&RDAT=&caller=PR
Enter code ALUMNIBAND24 in all caps in the promotional code box to select from Section 118 available seats. There are a limited number of tickets available for this game.
Do not share this link or code outside of our alumni band membership
Guest football tickets will be located behind the Marching Chiefs Alumni block (Section 118). They will issue via email closer to the time of the game.
IMPORTANT: Guests are not allowed to enter into the stadium with the band during March Over and are not allowed to sit in the block. This is for the safety and security of your guest and our band. Guests must use an available gate, scan using their purchased ticket and sit in their designated seat. This is especially important for those planning to attend with small children. They must go through a ticket gate and sit in their assigned seat.
Anyone caught trying to bring in guests without tickets, bring guests in through the march over parade or seat guests in the block may be subject to removal from the game and homecoming events.
Support our Future FSUMCA Members
Based on feedback from the membership, we are asking for donations to the FSUMCA Operating Fund (F04051) to help offset the cost for senior Marching Chiefs to attend events with the alumni. This is a great way to have our future MCA members engage with us and get excited to join our ranks once they leave FSU. Donations are tax deductible and any donation amount is welcomed!

Official FSUMCA Polo and Uniform
The Official FSUMCA Polo and Uniform Shop is now CLOSED!
Orders will be available at packet pick-up.
We will not have extra polos or shirts available at packet pick-up.
All participating Marching Chiefs Alumni are required to wear the official FSUMCA polo shirt (or designated visual team uniform) for entry into the stadium as part of the Marching Chiefs Alumni block. Per the FSU Athletics Department, if you do not have the approved uniform, you may be denied access to the stadium unless you have a valid game ticket. You will not be able to sit with the MCA block nor be allowed access to the field. No exceptions.
- Musicians: Garnet official MCA Uniform Polo; BLACK pants, shorts, or capris; 2024 name badge.
- Note: NO denim/jeans, athletic wear, bike shorts, athletic shorts, yoga pants, or leggings will be permitted.
- Your pants/shorts should look like slacks or a slack style, similar to a business casual dress code. Golf shorts are a great example.
- Reminder, this is a uniform and a performance so we should look professional.
- Color Guard: Color Guard Uniform Shirt; Black pants, shorts, or capris; 2024 name badge.
- Majorettes: Majorette Uniform Shirt; Black pants, shorts, or capris; 2024 name badge.

After registration closes, visual team members will receive information regarding the routine and additional related details.
To align with the university re-brand there has been a change to the Marching Chiefs Alumni logo. All shirts purchased this year will have the new logo. Polos with the old FSUMCA logo are still acceptable but you will not be able to march with the FSUBAA logo.

– Color Guard
Sections outside of these are not guaranteed equipment provided by the MCA.

Instruments CANNOT be checked out by anyone other than the registered alumni, and the registered alumni MUST sign out the instrument, providing accurate contact information in an event that we need to contact them. Instruments MUST be signed back in after the game in the Chiefs Field House by the registered alumni that checked out the instrument. Do NOT leave any instruments outside the Field House.
Please coordinate with MCA Equipment staff should you need special accommodations. Please email fsumca@gmail.com with those requests and we will try to accommodate.
Clear Bag Policy
Under the Clear Bag Policy, each person is allowed one clear bag (plus clutch or small purse) to bring into FSU home athletic events. This policy applies to everyone entering the stadium, including those marching. You will not be allowed into the stadium with a non-clear bag. Please consult the Clear Bag Policy for rules regarding the size of allowed clear bags, allowed items, prohibited items, and other rules pertaining to the policy.
Parking
Unfortunately, we cannot provide parking for Marching Chiefs Alumni Homecoming participants. Please review the following FSU Gameday Parking Information. Many parking lots and garages on FSU’s campus are reserved for Seminole Boosters parking on Gamedays. Given the uncertainty of parking availability on Gameday, we suggest giving yourself additional time to find parking and walk to Chiefs field for rehearsal.
We highly advise that you DO NOT ignore any “No Parking” signs, park in any lots designated as Seminole Booster lots, or park on any grass near Chiefs Field. You will be towed.
There are many organizations and businesses around campus that sell parking on game day. Prices vary and are located on both sides of campus. Please consider carpooling, using a taxi, or using a ride share service (such as Uber or Lyft) to get to campus for morning rehearsal.
Please note the following: The FSUMCA Board reserves the right to decline/cancel registration and/or participation for any alumni members, and/or their guests, if the actions of the individual(s) are unbecoming, which could result in the Athletics Department revoking our invitation to participate in 2024 or future Homecoming activities. We also reserve the right to remove any individuals from participation during the 2024 Homecoming activities by Law Enforcement if actions of the individual(s) are unbecoming of the FSUMCA, which may include removal from the stadium.
For any additional questions, please see this FAQ or email the FSUMCA at fsumca@gmail.com.
