Michael Toker Staden played Tuba in FSU Bands from 1986 to 1991, participating in Marching Chiefs (Royal Flush), Pep Band, and Concert Band. He was also a member of Kappa Kappa Psi, and he served as Vice President during the 1988 calendar year.
Michael has been very active as a FSU Bands Alumnus. He works with Dr. David Plack, Director of Athletic Bands, to have Band Alumni and local musicians play for the Seminole Sound Pep Band for volleyball and basketball games when the student members are not available. He’s also the assistant director of the Lofty Pursuits Community Marching Band. This group performs in parades and community events in the Tallahassee area. Michael lives in Tallahassee and is the Operations Manager of the Florida Public Service Commission.
