Troy Mahler played tuba in the Marching Chiefs from 2002 to 2006, serving as a Row Leader during his 5th year. He also played with the Campus Band from 2005-2007. Troy continues to play with the alumni bands, participating at Homecoming and with the Seminole Sound Pep Band during the holiday breaks.
Being a Tallahassee native, Troy grew up with strong ties to FSU, which lead to his desire to be in the Marching Chiefs at an early age. Troy worked at FSU from 2008-2013 in University Housing and the FAMU-FSU College of Engineering. He is currently the Director of Student Records at Tallahassee Community College and adjuncts for College Success. He is also a current member of the Lofty Pursuits Marching Band. Troy graduated from FSU with his B.S. in Social Science and M.S. in Higher Education, Student Affairs.
