Hello Alumni family! We hope you are having an amazing summer so far and we are sure you are eager to start making plans for this fall. Here is a word from our Executive Director Michael Staden regarding Homecoming 2024. Visit FSUMCA.com to join our mailing list and receive important updates as we get closer to Homecoming.
Some things to note:
- This year, our Homecoming will be the weekend of 11/22-11/23
- This is the 50th anniversary of the Marching Chiefs earning the moniker “World Renowned” and we are planning to recognize our alumni that were part of the Syria trip.
- We are working on a special event Friday evening so please try to make plans to be in town and available Friday night 11/22.
- Please be patient and be flexible this year as things will be different this year due to the stadium renovations
- Athletics notified us this week, that the Alumni Chiefs will have access to our normal section (118)
- Until we are told otherwise, the plan is to be able to have Traditional alumni gameday activities
- Saturday morning practice
- March over to stadium
- Pregame and/or halftime performances, as allowed by Athletics and the College of Music
- We are working with our partners to get registration up and running soon.
- We are asking for volunteers to assist the Board with various parts of our weekend plans, please reach out to us if you can volunteer some time to assist. Email fsumca@gmail.com
